Move from VB6 to ?

Hello everyone..

I got 6 years experience with a software firm in India. My experience is with Visual Basic 6 and SQL Server 2008. Now I joined back after my maternity leave and not able to find any project matching my skill set. I want to move to .NET but I am not getting any opportunities.

Please advice me what to do...
