I'm having trouble with a Timer in my app. Has worked for several years, but this is the first time I have been into the code since changing computers.
Problem: A timer is defined with an interval of 5 seconds, initially with Enabled =false. A line of code early in the ptogram then sets Enable = true.
I have used F9 on the Sub Timer1 code to let me know when the timer is called. It is called whent he other line of code enables it, but it never recalls itself.
The action of this timer is crucial to the anti-piracy scheme for my app, and I have a shipment pending. I have spent 1 1/2 days trying to find out what is causing this simple problem (which until I changed computers was not a problem. ) Suggestions will be appreciated.
VB6 with Service Pack 1 installed.
Former computer OS. Windows 7, 32 bit.
